After many meetings that included the literal burning of oil at midnight, we were able to turn the band's initial idea into a full fledged video. I guess it was a bit of a no-brainer that they wanted us to work a bit of our magic, through the lens.
The initial plan constituted us shooting within the city of Port of Spain, but that quickly fell through! We ended up shooting at our meeting location, behind Movietowne Port of Spain.
The bunch were really lively and a joy to shoot. Things went smoothly as we hopped from spot to spot getting shots and new ideas along the way.
The band has combined musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds, from bands such as 5 Miles To Midnight, Lyndon Lai Tan, Abaddon, Gyazette and Skid Nevely. With individual experience of opening for international acts, touring different parts of the world and experimenting with many different styles of music. Breaking Ground will be making its debut at the Anchorage Pop Music Awards Competition.
